Champagne Lanson Black Label Brut NV

Champagne, FranceLanson has been making Champagne since 1760 and as you would expect the brand has its ups and down. For the moment the Black Label Brut remains a solid player in the very mixed category of non-vintage brut selections. The nose is fresh and floral with classic toasted brioche notes, the palate crisp and juicy with mostly stony, green apple fruit, some lemon, hazelnuts and pear with just hint of sweetness in the finish. The style is balance with some finesse, the mix of grapes is 35/50/15 chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier.Tasted: 11 December 2014Tasted by: Prices:
