Domaine Serres Mazard Cuvée Henri Serres 2011

Corbières, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceDomaine Serres Mazard is a 55-hectare vineyard that sits over chalk and clay soils facing south in the heart of the garrigue land. The blend is syrah and carignan and the nose a savoury/floral mix of thyme and rosemary with a black olive, citrus, mineral, blackcurrant and eucalyptus notes. Dry firm and powerful it can easily tame big lamb or venison dishes. Cellar this for three to five years for best results.Tasted: 13 October 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
