Clos du Soleil Célestiale 2012

Keremeos, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is the best Celestiale we have seen but it won't be for everyone. The blend is 31/26/25/13/5/ merlot/cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc/malbec/petit verdot from the home vineyard in the Similkameen Valley. A slightly warmer riper nose appeals with floral violet black cherry fruit aromas. On the palate the attack is silky but fresh with solid red fruit flavours and integrated toasted oak notes. Very young will need time in the bottle but you could cheat and serve it now with a steak. Much improved.Tasted: 18 October 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
