Chateau Troplong Mondot 2011

Saint Émilion, Libourne, Bordeaux, FranceBig spicy, peppery, black cherry jam, coffee, cedar, smoked meat, black olive, gamey, menthol aromas. Dry, fresh, juicy, slightly astringent palate. Cassis, black cherry, coffee, balsamic, roast meat, tobacco, hot prune, black olive, toasty herb and oak flavours. Finish has some slightly green tannins and oak but better intensity and ripeness here. Good success for the vintage.Tasted: 03 October 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
