Badia a Coltibuono Cultus Boni Chianti Classico 2010

Tuscany, ItalyA cooler year and a later harvest contribute to a stylish, complex sangiovese bolstered by the addition of colorino, ciliegiolo and merlot that help build a firmer frame around the traditional Chianti Classico style. Mostly juicy red fruit with flecks of black berries mix effortlessly with spice and earthy mushroom notes on the palate. Typically elegant with finesse and length and plenty of acidity to keep the finish lively. It is drinking well now but will hold through 2018-19. Try this with grilled chicken or salmon.Tasted: 05 September 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
