Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port NV

Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalTen Year Old Tawny is all about style. It doesn't have to be strictly ten years old, but it has to taste like it's ten years. Toss in a bit of the Graham's style to be ripe and rounder than most, and you have delicious-sipping, fortified wine that isn't consumed enough. This wine was more or less designed in 2012, long before the pandemic or anything else that happened over the last ten years. The colour is appropriately light brick, the nose perfumed and long on dried fruits, old-fashioned Christmas cake, dark chocolate, figs, and spice. The palate is intense but balanced, and the finish goes on forever. Add a book, a fireplace, and a snowstorm for a perfect match.Tasted: 25 September 2021Tasted by: Prices:
